‘WE HAVE A BIG ADVANTAGE’: Real Madrid is determined to ‘go all out’ to defeat PSG and bring back ‘Varane 2.0’ for €40M.
Leny Yoro is apparently looking to join with Real Madrid for between €30 and €40 million, edging out Paris Saint-Germain for his services.
Reputable French writer Santi Aouna claims that Real Madrid is still interested in Leny Yoro. A center back is something the Merengues are eager to add during the summer transfer window. Additionally, they will request that the Lille defense turn down Paris Saint-Germain’s advances. Furthermore, they intend to submit a proposal of €30–40 million in order to capture the 18-year-old potential.
The ascent to prominence of Leny Yoro
One of the world’s top young prospects is Leny Yoro. Though still in his teens, the French wonderkid, who graduated from the LOSC Lille youth division, is a fixture at the back for Les Dogues.
In 44 appearances across all competitions in the 2023–24 season, the 18-year-old has accrued over 3,500 minutes of playing time and contributed three goals. Yoro’s development, meantime, has not gone unnoticed, drawing interest from a number of prestigious teams, including Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain.
An attractive man
It makes sense that Real Madrid is interested in the Frenchman. Despite recent rumors suggesting the Merengues are abandoning their pursuit of the teenage phenomenon, they still require a youthful center-back in their lineup. While Nacho faces an unclear future at the Santiago Bernabeu, David Alaba and Antonio Rudiger are approaching their 30th birthdays.
Real Madrid, the newest La Liga winners, are planning to win the race to sign Leny Yoro, making him a realistic target. To get him, Los Blancos will probably make an offer between €30 and €40 million. Furthermore, Yoro will be asked by Real Madrid to reject PSG this summer.
In related news, PSG is reportedly putting more effort into signing the 18-year-old French defender, who has been compared to Raphael Varane. The Ligue 1 champions need a new centre-back, with Presnel Kimpemble likely departing from Parc des Princes this summer.
It will be intriguing to watch if Real Madrid’s scheme to recruit Yoro before PSG succeeds is successful. Right now, they want to prevail in the competition to recruit the Frenchman during the summer transfer window from LOSC Lille.
