Time to SIUUUbscribe! Icon Cristiano Ronaldo debuts his own YouTube channel as a new lucrative venture, hinting at videos with his partner Georgina and exclusive guest interviews.
In an effort to reach out to his global fan base, Cristiano Ronaldo has started his own YouTube channel as a side project.
Even though it is predicted that the superstar would play for many more years, he is currently with Al-Nassr in Saudi Arabia and appears to be getting close to retirement.
Following his official announcement of his most recent side project on the video-sharing website, Ronaldo pledged to use the channel, named “UR,” to display a side of himself that is rarely seen.
With multiple films already shot with his partner Georgina Rodriguez and their kids, his programming will include topics unrelated to his career on the pitch.
It has been announced that the 39-year-old will also be interviewing a number of unidentified guests.

Ronaldo’s channel was launched on Wednesday afternoon and features a sleek logo design – with the UR appearing like his CR initials followed by a play button.
In a short one-minute taster, a laughing Ronaldo looked in high spirits.
‘I have a big surprise for you, the new YouTube channel,’ he said.
The channel’s bio cleverly told viewers to ‘SIUUUbscribe and join the CR7 family’ in a nod to Ronaldo’s now iconic goal celebration often repeated by crowds.
Nine videos have been uploaded to date. They include a ‘Meet Georgina’, a free-kick challenge with his son and a ‘This or That’ selection which sees Ronaldo choosing between iconic athletes such as Michael Jordan and Tiger Woods.
Shortly after, a Mr & Mrs quiz featuring Ronaldo and Georgina also went live.
The superstar looked in high spirits as he introduced viewers to the channel in a short teaser.
A sleek studio set-up featuring the logo for the channel provides the backdrop to videos.
Georgina has taken part in ‘Meet Georgina’ and Mr & Mrs quiz videos uploaded after the launch.
Ronaldo said: ‘I am very happy to make this project come to life. It has been in my mind for a long time but finally we have the opportunity to make it real.
‘I have always enjoyed having such a strong relationship with fans on social media and my YouTube channel will give me an even bigger platform to do so and they will learn more about me, my family and my views on many different subjects.
‘I am looking forward to sharing conversations with guests that will surprise people!’
