RETURN: Manchester United legend Nani, 37, brings his career to an end by joining the TENTH club in an emotional free transfer.
The Portugal winger, 37, was a free agent after leaving Turkish club Adana Demirspor in May.
Nani joined Estrela da Amadora.
He won four Premier League titles with Manchester United.
He has already signed a one-year contract with Estrela, who finished 14th in the Primeira Liga last season.
They will be the TENTH different club in his extensive career.
Nani was born in Amadora, north-west of Lisbon, before making his mark with Sporting and then United.
He won four Premier League titles, the Champions League, two League Cups, and a Club World Cup during his eight-year tenure at Old Trafford.
Estrela declared, “Luis Nani has returned to his roots.” The Portuguese international will return to Portugal to play for Estrela da Amadora on a one-year contract.
“The footballer will return to the Portuguese league, this time in the city of Amadora, which holds great meaning for him.
“This is where he grew up and where his football career began.
“A city that witnessed a boy grow into a man and an outstanding athlete who won almost everything in the world of football.

“He made the city proud of his improvement as a player, but most importantly as a person.
“Everything he has done for the city, showing solidarity and social responsibility, now culminates with him joining Estrela da Amadora.”
Nani will play for his new team while also owning fourth-division club SU Sintrense.
Last month, he and a group of investors acquired a majority ownership in the 112-year-old club near Amadora.
In 2015, the winger left United for Fenerbahce and has since returned to his first club, Sporting Lisbon, twice.
Globe-trotting Nani has also played for teams in Spain, Italy, the United States, and Australia.
