The André Onana Foundation continues to fight resolutely to help those who need it most. The Cameroon and Man Utd national team goalkeeper spent his holiday improving the lives of his countrymen by donating food and basic necessities to four orphanages in Yaoundé. This action is part of the Foundation’s fundamental philosophy and goals, helping young people achieve greater social justice.

Despite the limitations that COVID-19 has brought about globally, Onana remains committed to her social mission. The football player wants to personally provide meals and take care of the medical needs of kids without parents and with limited resources and possibilities. The Foundation devotes all of its resources to these groups because of Onana’s understanding of who they are.

The football player, who also frequently attended football games conducted in his hometown, spent his whole vacation in Cameroon with family and friends, spending the majority of his time in the Foundation’s social events.

In the coming months, a high-profile project aimed at directly improving the lives of hundreds of people in Cameroon will be announced.

And that’s not his only charitable contribution.

In 2016, Onana set up his foundation to help young African children, providing them means to a better education, giving them access to medical care, as well as help to those affected by terrorist attacks.

“I know first-hand what many children in my country are suffering,” he revealed.

“Inside me I feel that I must help them to have a better future.”
