The Cameroon and Man Utd national team goalkeeper spent his holiday improving the lives of his countrymen by donating food and basic necessities to four orphanages in Yaoundé. Despite the limitations that COVID-19 has brought about globally, Onana remains committed to her social mission. The Foundation devotes all of its resources to these groups because of Onana’s understanding of who they are.

And that’s not his only charitable contribution.

In 2016, Onana set up his foundation to help young African children, providing them means to a better education, giving them access to medical care, as well as help to those affected by terrorist attacks.

“I know first-hand what many children in my country are suffering,” he revealed.

“Inside me I feel that I must help them to have a better future.”
