Fede Valverde: “I’ll run until my legs give out.”
Federico Valverde started the new season as one of coach Carlo Ancelotti’s untouchables, according to AS. He also played the most minutes last season: 4,280 in 54 games. Valverde was also key to Real Madrid’s Champions League and LaLiga double last year.
This season, the Uruguayan midfielder is preparing for his next endurance test: playing over 5,000 minutes as Real Madrid will play up to 72 matches in seven different competitions.
All of this does not take into account the minutes the midfielder has played for the Uruguayan national team. If there is any first-team player who can run a marathon, it is Valverde. His unique physique allows him to run non-stop.
And Valverde has said: “I will run until my legs ҽxplodҽ.”
