‘Endrick > R9’ – Real Madrid fans hail ‘GENERATION’ Brazilian after impressive La Liga debut against Real Valladolid but Kylian Mbappe slams him with ‘teach how to play football’ taunt.
Although Endrick scored in his Real Madrid debut against Real Valladolid, Kylian Mbappe was made fun of by the supporters as he played through yet another unpleasant match.
WHAT HAPPENED?
Despite winning 3-0, Real Madrid was unable to establish a rhythm in their offence for the all of the first half and much of the second. After another challenging night in which he wasted two excellent opportunities to score for Paris Saint-Germain, Kylian Mbappe continues his quest for his first La Liga goal. With ten minutes remaining, fellow summer acquisition Endrick replaced Mbappe in a competitive match for the first time. He celebrated the occasion with an incredible finish to wrap up the points. After the match, supporters of the 15-time Champions League winners made fun of Mbappe by drawing comparisons between the young player and the illustrious former Real and Brazil striker Ronaldo Nazario.
WHAT THE FANS ARE SAYING
@JovanRMFC said on X: “ENDRICK YOU ARE GENERATIONAL”Meanwhile, @_RMBlancoZz added: “My professional analysis. Get Vini to a barbershop immediately. Teach Mbappe how to play football. Hold Toni’s family hostage till he comes back. More Whistles from the Bernabeu needed. Give Camavinga my knee. Militao is back to his best. Endrick > R9. I love Brahim.”
@CR7roadto1000 responded: “Let it be known by the history books: Endrick scored at Santiago Bernabeu before Mbappe.”
@certifiedhatr said: “Endrick in 10 minutes did what Mbappe couldn’t in 85.”
@BoyfroTheIsland remarked: “When Cristiano is your idol, you are destined for greatness!!”
@Trujista even compared Mbappe to Manchester City terminator Haaland, saying: “Not to slander Mbappe because he will obviously rip it up for years to come at Madrid, but it makes Haaland’s early games at City so much more impressive, coming into a completely new league/system where pretty much everyone admitted they needed to adapt to him, special talent.”
@janufooty offered some more constructive criticism, stating: “Mbappe brother you do not get 5 seconds per touch you get closed down incredibly fast in central zones. Release the ball faster.”
ANCELOTTI’S QUOTES
After the game, Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti saved some special remarks for Endrick, indicating that the 18-year-old will play a significant amount of minutes as the season goes on. In a press conference held after the game, the Italian said, “Endrick looks very good, he has great potential.” “He shown his abilities in the goal. He has lightning-fast control and a potent shot. He is a striker in the region and a real threat in confined places.”
FUTURE PLANS FOR REAL MADRID?
On Thursday, Los Blancos will travel to play Las Palmas in La Liga. Despite his difficulties, Mbappe is probably going to start again, and he’ll be itching to open his La Liga scoring account with Endrick waiting in the wings to seize any chance to show off.
