And while JUDE BELLINGHAM is a rising star on the field, he also wants to make a name for himself off of it.

The 17-year-old Borussia Dortmund star is already playing much older than his years after moving from Birmingham City to Germany for a huge £25 million in the summer.

Because of how good he was, he got his first England cap in November. When he played against the Republic of Ireland, he became the third-youngest player in England’s history.

Even though Bellingham became famous very quickly, he is making sure he stays grounded. He recently gave a large amount of money to help finish building a new school in Kenya.

Bellingham is a spokesperson for the Mustard Seed Project, an organization that helps poor kids in the Mombasa slums get an education.

Geoff and Rita Fowler, who started the school with their wife, have changed the way kids are taught in the area. They started by renting a building with two classes and teaching 17 kids.

That was 13 years ago. This month, with Bellingham’s help, they finished a six-year project to build a school with 12 classrooms for 300 kids.

Rita, who is 74 years old, told SunSport that Bellingham was involved: “During the big give at the end of the year, Jude made a big donation.”

“It really helps us that Jude is on our website and social media.

“He also made a Viɾgin Money Just Giving page, where a lot of people gave money.” He had fans who said they’d give £10 every time he scored a goal. That amount is almost £2,000 now.
