After receiving a Bernabeu model at age 10, he vowed to bring his family to VIP events as a Madrid player, and 15 years later, he fulfilled that promise during his unveiling.
During the birthday celebration of a little kid who was only ten years old, his family presented him with a small model of the Santiago Bernabeu stadium that had been constructed in 2008. He said with self-assurance that he would someday be able to entertain his family in the VIP section of the Bernabeu Stadium when he was playing for Real Madrid. Fifteen years later, the young lad did what he had promised to do when he was younger: he brought the talented model with him to his first news conference after joining Real Madrid.
According to Kylian Mbappé, “If you want to buy a dream like this, you can’t use money to do it.”
As stated in an interview that took place on the same day that Kylian Mbappé made his debut with Real Madrid:
In the year that I became eight years old, my family presented me with a miniature replica of the Santiago Bernabeu stadium. It is a solemn promise that I would return to Real Madrid. And now that I have fulfilled my promise, I am present here.
It is a great honor and a source of great joy for me to be a player for Real Madrid. It is a significant day in both my personal and my professional life. In spite of the fact that I had anticipated a beautiful day, it managed to surpass my expectations.
