LUKE SHAW will not play in England’s Thursday match against Denmark.

The left-back for Manchester United will not play in the Three Lions’ second group match, according to Gareth Southgate, as he continues to treat an injury.

Out of all the left-backs in Southgate’s 26-man tournament squad, Shaw is the sole regular.

The England manager has not yet provided a timeline for when supporters might anticipate seeing Shaw return to action.

Erik ten Hag, the manager of Shaw’s club, forecast that it wouldn’t happen until after the group stages based on his knowledge of the ailment.
