An adorable dog who was abandoned and left to die has learned how to walk and run using just two legs.
Putol was born with only her front legs, but she didn’t let her deformity stop her. With the help of her new owner, Danilo Codilego Jr., the six-year-old canine has now learned to run remarkably fast on her two front paws, as an adorable video shows.

Putol, which literally translates as ‘chopped’ in the Tagalog language of Luzon, The Philippines, is often seen running with other dogs and exploring the side streets and gutters of Casiguran in Quezon City.
Can we just take a minute to reflect on the fact that this poor girl has been called ‘chopped’? A name that is equal parts brutal and cute.
Questionable name aside, the pooch is a major attraction in the neighbourhood because of her courage and lust for life.

Local truck driver, Danilo, said: “We met six years ago. I was working in a bakery then. One day a co-worker arrived with four puppies. He was trying to sell them for 5000 pesos each (£115/$151).
“The other puppies sold, but nobody wanted poor two-legged Putol.”
Well if that statement doesn’t hit you in the feels, nothing will.

Danilo added: “They didn’t think she would live long. I was the only one who had the courage to take care of her. We took our chances because we took pity on her.
“We couldn’t think of another name except for Putol.”
Couldn’t think of anything? Molly, Coco, Willow? There are three off the top of my head, mate.
