There were rumors circulating before to Monday Night Raw’s first day that a former WWE Champion would be making an unexpected comeback. When Jinder Mahal made his dramatic entrance into the arena, people in attendance were stunned and a little disappointed, but Triple H later verified this rumor on social media.
The crowd erupted in applause for Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, who stopped the Modern Day Maharaja after he insulted them and misled them into jeering at the US national anthem as he was reciting it in Punjabi.
To the tune of the Star Spangled Banner, Rock ran down Jinder Mahal and called him an asshole while singing about the star’s balls. In addition, he became combative, giving his fellow former champion a People’s Elbow. After that, he returned to the mic, requesting to be seated at the head of the table.
Mahal talked about working with The Great One and his reaction when he learned the part was going to air in a recent interview with The Gorilla Position.
“I did not make a pitch. For Christmas, I spent time at home. One of the writers called me as soon as I got back to Tampa and said, “I think you’ve probably seen on social media, we announced a WWE Champion will return.” Yes, that is me, however…A huge kicker was on the way, I knew. “There will be a significant change; you are now partnered with The Rock.” Tell no one, please. Mahal went on to say that he has been training with an acting coach and that he was happy with the opportunities that came his way after his return.
“I’ve been working with an acting coach in the interim. I was able to display a different part of myself, and my performance was well received overall. I also received a lot of compliments. a promo against Seth Rollins came after it. had a championship fight. Overall, it was a fantastic way to begin the year. Although I didn’t mean to, I’m fortunate to be prepared all year round. Anything can happen at any time in the WWE. Much like the moment I unexpectedly became the WWE Champion.

Jinder Mahal was all praise when asked about working with The Rock.
“Incredible. He obviously provides a different aspect of entertainment to WWE now that he is a board member. It will only, in my opinion, make us larger. coincides with Raw’s 2019 move to Netflix.

“Dwayne is an extremely selfless performer. My experience tells me that he has always been really helpful. He hangs out after Raw or SmackDown every time he appears. He is highly personable and gets along with everyone. All in all, it’s a good thing.
