There are no words to describe the suffering of this poor dog. Early this morning, it was found in the parking lot of the Emma Church in Río Canario—distressed, emaciated, and completely defenseless. We received a call for help and went to rescue it. It was thin, weak, and fragile, as if the wind could knock it over at any moment. We named it Emma.
Emma is currently receiving fluids and medical attention. We still don’t know if it will survive, but we are determined to save its life and will do everything within our reach to help.
Please share Emma’s story, and if you can donate for its emergency care, please do so via Tikkie, PayPal, Maduro & Curiel’s Bank (MCB), or Banco di Caribe.
Emma’s story marks a new chapter in the ongoing rescue and care efforts for dogs in Curaçao. With CARF’s continued efforts, we hope to keep sharing stories like this—giving these miserable dogs a second chance at life.
