From Shelter to Happiness: Resilient Boxer Puppy Finds Hope After Spending Half her Life Curled up on a Cot
Luna, a seven-month-old Boxer puppy from Fort Worth, Texas, has spent nearly half her life at Chuck Silcox Animal Care & Control Center. Due of her owner’s bad health, she was surrendered to the shelter on January 26, 2023.
SHE’S BEEN AT THE SHELTER FOR NEARLY 3 MONTHS, OR HALF HER LIFE. SHE’S CURLED UP ON HER COT, LOOKING DEPRESSED.
Luna is a Boxer mix that weighs about 42 pounds. According to her surrender paperwork, she has lived with other dogs, cats, and children. She is crate-trained and understands the commands “sit” “shake” and “down.”
This adorable pup likes to have fun, is physically fit, and adores butt scratching. She is quite active and, according to shelter personnel, would thrive in a household without little children.
