While on suspension from the NBA, veteran Tristan Thompson recently turned 33 years old.

Thompson was handed a 25-game suspension by the league due to the presence of two substances in his system: Ibutamoren and SARM LGD-4033. Thompson, who missed the whole 2022–23 season, was making a triumphant return to the Cavaliers’ lineup, where he was playing 16.1 minutes per game.

Since playing 21 minutes on January 22, Thompson has not donned the Cleveland Cavaliers uniform. Following his birthday party, he will likely suit up for the Cavaliers’ match against the Rockets on March 16.
The Cavaliers are in third place in the Eastern Conference and intend to make a serious run at the playoffs.
