Originally created to aid in the rescue of stray dogs in Dallas, Texas, this group has now transformed into a final option for canines that are likely to remain unadopted. A recent addition to their care is Serenity, a Husky who was transferred from a shelter in San Antonio. What sets her apart is her unique appearance, as she has an invasive tumor that has spread throughout her nasal cavity, eye sockets, and skull.

The tumor has caused a significant impact on Serenity’s facial bones. Nevertheless, Dawson believed that Serenity should have a chance to fight and live the best life she can, despite the condition.
Dawson recalled an endearing moment when Serenity leaned in towards him with her tumor and gave him a dog-like bump before planting a kiss on his face. It was then when he realized that they would do everything in their power to save her as she still had so much life left in her.

Up until now, Serenity has consulted with various medical experts including an oncologist, internal medicine specialist, and critical care specialist seeking help for her condition. While she can still carry out basic functions such as seeing, breathing, and eating, unfortunately, there seems to be no cure for the tumor. Despite the disappointing news, Dawson maintains her love for Serenity and is determined to provide her with an incredible life.

Alan Whitton, a resident of England, found himself in such a predicament when his dog Mitzi went missing. Despite searching for two days straight, he began to lose hope – until an unexpected glimmer of hope appeared.

One morning, Alan was out for a stroll with his furry friend, Mitzi, when they came across a huge canine. Being just a year old, the Jack Russell terrier was frightened and ran away. Despite searching high and low, Alan couldn’t find her anywhere. Hence, he turned to social media to seek assistance in locating Mitzi. To his amazement, the community rallied behind him, with several individuals offering to help, leaving him overwhelmed by their support.

Alan received a call from a kind-hearted dog walker two days after Mitzi vanished. The woman’s furry companions were sniffing around a fox hole, and she had a hunch that Mitzi could be taking refuge inside. Without any delay, Alan rushed to the spot with a few like-minded helpers and Mitzi’s beloved toy. Upon reaching, he squeaked the toy and heard a faint whimper coming from the burrow. Without second thoughts, he knelt down and rescued her!

On Facebook, a video was shared in which Alan can be observed trying his best to get to Mitzi before she comes out and jumps right into his arms. It’s apparent that her father isn’t bothered about the dirt on both of them. He simply embraces her tightly and sheds tears because he is ecstatic to reunite with his beloved friend.

Mitzi was rescued and thankfully, she wasn’t hurt despite being dirty and frightened. Alan expressed gratitude to his community through online messages and shared his overwhelming joy upon reuniting with Mitzi.
