The owner of a luxury vacation villa in Beverly Hills, California (USA) has announced legal action against the celebrity couple Cardi B and Offset, accusing them of evading payment of bills and damaging the property.
In the lawsuit, it is stated that the couple had “occupied” the house since the beginning of 2022 but abruptly left in October without providing any notice. They vacated the residence, leaving unpaid utility bills behind.
The homeowner claims that when Cardi B and her husband departed, the upscale home suffered significant property damage, including damaged furniture, burn marks on tables and countertops, holes in the walls, and scratches on carpets, curtains, and tiled floors. The estimated total cost of damages is $85,000.
Information about the lawsuit emerged after Cardi B announced her decision to divorce the male rapper. According to sources from People magazine, the couple’s relationship has always been tumultuous and chaotic, leading to frequent separations followed by reconciliations, only to repeat the cycle.
Cardi B and Offset secretly got married in 2017, surprising their fans. Since then, the couple has had two children together: daughter Kulture and son Wave Set. The male rapper also has three children from previous relationships: Jordan, Kody, and Kalea Marie.
