Drako had been lost between Pamplona and San Juan de Miraflores, Peru, and somehow found his way to Chorrillos. It remains a mystery how he got there and survived, but what is clear is that his family tirelessly searched for him for five months, employing air, sea, and land resources.

The video captures the moment when a man approaches Drako, visibly surprised and then overcome with tears as he showers the dog with love and embraces. The rest of the family quickly joins in, lavishing Drako with affection, while the joyful pup wags his tail in contentment.
