It’s always heartbreaking to witness an animal in distress, but a particular small dog found is tugging at people’s heartstrings all over the world after she was discovered dying in a trash pile. Lou Sisk rescued Missey from the trash pile when she was half-starved and on the verge of death. She couldn’t possibly go any further!
Missy required several months of recuperation following her surgical procedure, but she was under excellent care. Her weight gradually began to increase and she became stronger and more resilient. It didn’t take long before she was ready for a permanent home.
Thankfully, she didn’t have to wait very long before discovering a fantastic family to claim as her own.
