Cheech hobbled alone from Texas’ streets, was transported to a huge shelter, and was subsequently sent to the recently developed Waller City Animal Rescue Shelter. Some staff personnel allowed the tiny puppy to be bullied and therefore unintentionally allowed anybody near to him. However, surprise, surprise! Little Cheech gave his saviors the greatest smile, and they were all in awe!
“I went into the kennel to check him out and yelled for the other levies to come look,” said Leah Sipe, director of the Waller City Animal Shelter and Rescue Center, who was in attendance at the meeting. ” They accepted that I was insane and that he was snarling, and when I stuck my hand in the pen, they passed out.” He’s as nice as they come!”
Cheech’s image was placed on Facebook to help him find a forever home, and boy, did it work! Thousands of procedures have been conducted, but in the end, a woman who just lost a cat due to cancer and begged to locate a new friend for her other dog, Dusty, eventually got the happy puppy! .
