Marcus Rashford embarrassed his opponent as the Man Utd star used a Ronaldo-inspired skill to outwit a Twente defender.
Marcus Rashford is showing signs of being back to his best after pulling off a delicious flip flap in the 1-1 draw with FC Twente.
The Manchester United star proved that he’s got his mojo back when he pulled off the sublime piece of skill when running at Ricky van Wolfswinkel during the Europa League clash at Old Trafford.

Running at his opponent, Rashford flicked the ball wide of his step before immediately hooking it back into his path with his toe – leading Van Wolfswinkel to lose track of the ball as it went through his legs.
The move was made famous by two Brazilian football legend – Ronaldo and Ronaldinho – who used the move with great effort as they used pace, power and flair to disorientate their opponenets.
Speaking on commentary for talkSPORT, Micky Gray said: “It’s fantastic wing play.
“Remember the Brazilian Ronaldo, it was his trick, putting it through the legs and sending in a great cross.
“All you have to do is look at the body language from Marcus, it’s completely different to last season.”
Speaking at half time, he continued: “It was class, this is why we get frustrated with players like Marcus Rashford.
“I bet last season you couldn’t count on two hands how many times he ran at a defender, but tonight he’s getting at them.”
Gray added: He’s confident, his shoulders are back, he’s running at players.
“I’m loving what I’m seeing and it’s only going to get better.”
Rashford looked like a shell of his former self last term as he netted just eight times in 43 matches for Manchester United.
This term, the forward already has three goals and an assist to his name, with the 26-year-old getting fans on the edge of their seats with his performances.
According to Erik ten Hag, Rashford’s improvement is down to his lifestyle under control.
The Dutch boss said: “I think he always knew, and every player knows, because when your lifestyle is not right you can’t perform.
“You don’t get the right levels when you don’t have a good and disciplined life away from Carrington.
“At the end of the day, he has to do it by himself. He has to set his life right, his training attitude right, his match attitude right. When he sets his professionalism, he will perform because he is a class player.
“Marcus Rashford knows when there are setbacks how to get fightback, how to set his career, his performance. He took control of it and I think he is on the way back. He has started the season very good now he has to continue and to progress.”
Rashford’s talent was evident, though, on a disappointing night for United as they were unable to secure a winning start to their Europa League campaign.
Sam Lammers’ goal on 68 minutes gave the Dutch team a point, but Christian Eriksen’s goal placed the Red Devils ahead 1-0 at the interval. Lammers broke through the middle of the United midfield and defence to beat Andre Onana at the near post.
