Amidst the crowd, I noticed a little puppy, no bigger than a loaf of bread, sniffing around the garbage cans. His fur was matted and dirty, and he looked painfully thin. As the days went by, the puppy, whom I named Lucky, began to show signs of improvement. His eyes, once filled with fear and desperation, now sparkled with curiosity and affection. He started to gain weight, and his playful, energetic nature emerged. Lucky quickly adapted to his new environment, and it was clear that he had a loving, gentle spirit despite the hardships he had endured.
I took him to the vet for a thorough check-up. Fortunately, apart from malnutrition and a few minor issues, Lucky was relatively healthy. The vet estimated that he was about three months old. Hearing this made me even more determined to give him the life he deserved—one filled with love, care, and security.
