Gunner and Delta are two best friends who love hanging out together and giving each other sweet kisses.

Their friendship is so adorable and pure that they don’t mind being quite the odd couple, to say the least.

You see, Gunner happens to be a  golden retriever and Delta is a dolphin.

Delta lives at the Dolphin Research Center in Florida, where the pair first met.

These unlikely friends first met when Gunner was just eight weeks old and Delta was four years old.

The pair have been best friends ever since and recently, a photo of the two beauties went viral on Twitter.

Their unexpected friendship has completely melted everyone’s hearts, and people are especially enamored by the fact that they like giving each other kisses.

Delta presents her pointy nose for  puppy kisses, and Gunner happily licks his best friend and shows her how much he loves this strange water pup.

The two friends are ridiculously adorable together, and we can’t get over how magical their friendship is.
