Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson, one of Hollywood’s biggest stars, will step inside the octagon tomorrow to present the winner of the UFC 244 main event with the BMF title.
Fan favourites Nate Diaz and Jorge Masvidal will face off for the belt in one of the most anticipated UFC fights of the year.
To which The Rock replied: “Doing all I can to make this fight. If I can and you win, I’ll put the belt around your waist at MSG – consider it done.
“Already shaping up to be one of the biggest and most electrifying fights in UFC history. Can’t wait.”
Johnson confirmed his appearance at the event in an Instagram Live video with UFC president Dana White and praised the company for creating the BMF title.
“This addition to the company and the brand and to the sport, this BMF belt, I think it’s brilliant,” Johnson said. “It’s so smart and it’s just fun, man.
“With Masvidal, I’ve been down in Miami for a long time playing for the University of Miami and Masvidal’s legend is legit – that is a bad dude coming out of South Florida, man.
