Fans of Manchester United want Casemiro to be sold because he helped Crystal Palace score the first goal.
After a great solo run, Michael Olise scored the first goal against Erik ten Hag’s team by finishing past Andre Onana.
The winger for Crystal Palace got the ball in the middle of United’s half and skipped past Casemiro, who jumped in and fell to the ground.
Olise had time and room to keep driving the ball into the box and the bottom corner.
United fans are furious on social media, with some calling for Casemiro to be sold because his season has been so bad so far.
On X, one fan wrote, “Casemiro needs to be sold,” and another said, “Olise just crushed Casemiro’s dreams.”
After seeing Casemiro’s slip, a third fan said, “Olise sent Casemiro back to the favelas.”
On the other hand, Jan Age Fjortoft, a former striker for Sheffield United, criticized Casemiro and said the Brazilian was like a young player.
Casemiro jumped in like a young player, Fjortoft wrote on X. Larsen and Mainoo couldn’t get close enough to tackle. And the defense backed up like a youth team.
“Honor to the beautiful Olise, but Manchester United’s defense is terrible.”
Jean-Philippe Mateta scored a powerful strike five minutes before halftime to double Crystal Palace’s lead. Tyrick Mitchell then made it three.
Casemiro’s night got even worse when Daniel Munoz stole some money from him. He then passed the ball to Olise, who scored with a slam to put Palace four goals ahead.
