Serena is set to share the highs and lows of her illustrious career in the upcoming docuseries In The Arena: Serena Williams.
The eight-part series will explore ‘the pivotal moments in Serena’s life on and off the court,’ and will air on ESPN+ on July 10.
The program will illustrate ‘the series of steps that when reflected upon, show the incredible distance travelled over the course of her career,’
‘I think it’s a good opportunity for people to see the other side,’ she told Style Culture TV.
‘I think most people see the grand slam wins and the holding up the trophy,’ she explained.
‘I want people to take away the appreciation of what happened before the trophy went up, and all the work and all the real memories of what was going on behind the scenes.’
‘I’ve had so many amazing memories,’ the Olympic gold medal winner added.
