- NBA. Bronny James crumbles after another failure: I feel like I’m in a little depression
Bryce James, the youngest son of Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James, at only 17 years old is forging his way in basketball to make it to the NBA just like his father and older brother Bronny who was just drafted by the Lakers.
Bronny has not had the best start in his NBA career, he has had some mistakes in his shots that do not even touch the rim or touch the backboard, instead his brother Bryce shows his skills to score three-pointers, even receiving a foul.
Bryce James has what his brother Bronny lacks
During today’s Nike Elite Youth Basketball League game between Strive For Greatness vs. Arizona Unity Bryce showcased why he is more skilled from three point range than his brother Bronny James. In the third quarter Bryce breaks free to receive the ball and shoots behind the three-point line making a perfect shot, while getting fouled by the Arizona defender. His teammates immediately help him up and congratulate him for the fouled score.
The game ended in a close 68-66 win for Strive For Greatness over Arizona Unity.
For his part, the oldest son of Lebron and Savannah James, Bronny has not had the best start with his father’s team, Los Angeles Lakers. In the games he has played during the NBA Summer League he has not been able to show his best game, he has even attempted three-point shots that have not even touched the backboard or grazed the rim, simply ending in a loose ball that the opposing team recovers.
Like any dad in the world LeBron James wants his kids to be happy and excel in what they love and are passionate about, surely Brony and Bryce are doing exactly that, playing the sport they grew up with since they were in the cradle, basketball.
Time will tell how far the NBA veteran’s sons can go in their basketball journey.
