A dog in Chile got stuck in the middle of a wheel while wandering in search of food. The rescue team applied petroleum jelly around the dog’s head and then slowly pushed it backward to free it from danger.
They freed the dog whose head was inexplicably trapped in the middle of the wheel.
According to the newspaper Nguoi Lao Dong, citing sources from the Daily Mail news agency, on September 19, a trapped dog was discovered at the La Chimba landfill in the city of Antofagasta, with its head stuck inside a dismantled wheel.
The image of the dog with its head inside the tire makes many people think of a chubby mouse that cannot pass through a hole in the wall after sneaking in to eat.

According to local media, employees from the city’s Pet Sterilization and Responsible Breeding Program (PET) and the firefighters freed this “victim.” At first, the dog seemed aggressive, which led the rescue team to calm it down.
After escaping, the 8-month-old dog was taken to the veterinary hospital for examination.
Veterinarian Eliel Morales said the dog was a stray. The doctor confirmed that the dog was not injured, and the next step was to sterilize it, vaccinate it against rabies, and return it to the area.
