A rescue team got a big surprise when they came to pick up a puppy that was lying on the floor completely covered in flies .

At first glance, the defenseless puppy seemed to be dead, however, when the rescuers prepared to take it in their arms, they noticed that its heart was beating weakly .

It is possible that any passerby would think it was too late to try to save the puppy, but for the volunteers of Animal Aid Unlimited , in India, there was a life to save , as long as their hearts beat there was hope and they were willing to give it back to the puppy.

Little dog was covered in flies, they thought the worst but his heart was pounding.

Although they had no guarantee that the result would be positive, they were willing to try, a heartbeat meant life and they wanted to save it .

Rescuers set out to pick up the fragile puppy with a blanket and took it to the ambulance where it was transferred to the clinical center where it quickly received the necessary medical attention. His condition was very deteriorated so he had to be treated with greater delicacy .

The rescue group is headquartered in Rajasthan, India.

The vet gave him an IV line with a series of pain relievers to help ease the pain. Her temperature was very low, this worried the rescuers even more, but his heart was still beating, so the rescuers did not give up.

After an hour of trying to revive him, the puppy finally opened his eyes , a great victory for the medical staff, who were not willing to give up and would do everything possible to save his life and improve his condition.

They decided to name the little dog Oliver.

The adorable puppy looked around and realized that he was in good hands, he knew that they would do everything possible to save him and he would also do his part . Just a couple of minutes later he continued to rest easy.

Once he was strong enough, medical staff put him on a stretcher and further assessed him. Oliver surprised everyone, he was determined to recover and get on his feet even if it cost him a bit.

The puppy was under observation for two months.

His legs were very skinny and even so he supported the entire weight of his body , he wanted to recover so much that the medical staff could not believe their eyes. She was diagnosed with malnutrition and a severe respiratory tract infection , she was given plenty of antibiotics and a healthy diet.

Unbelievably, after a couple of months Oliver looked totally different, now he is a strong little dog who enjoys running around and hugging his handlers .

Oliver won’t stop wagging his tail every time he sees his rescuers.

Oliver managed to find a family that is responsible for making his days totally different. He went from being a dying puppy to an energetic, happy and grateful puppy .
