This Sweet Dog Is Refusing To Let Her Deformed Legs Get Her Down-d5

You won’t catch Rexi without a big grin on her face. After she was diagnosed with a neurological problem, a warhorse suggested Rexi’s family put her down. But in fact, due to her deformed legs, the 1-year-old golden retriever is still a happy puppy.

And now, Lexi and her family need your help. James Cassity and Rachel Woertink have had Rexi since she was just a doggy. Everything sounded fine until she was about 10 weeks old. Rexi started limping. They thought she sprained her leg and went to take some X-rays, but everything sounded normal in the test.

Unfortunately, Rexi’s problems were just beginning. Rexi suddenly lost the function of his two front legs. Now, she can’t extend her legs up past her head. Rather, Rex pushes her body around with her back legs and scrapes her casket along the ground to get around. We do n’t have any kiddies so this is kind of like our sprat right then and we treat her like that,” Cassity told ABC7.

Despite losing function of her legs, Rexi’s a sweet doggy who still loves to play. But that does not mean she has not had her challenges. Her possessors have tried to help Rex with a vest and a wheelchair, but those have presented their own set of complications. On several occasions, Rexi hit the jewelry while using the wheelchair, which caused the wheelchair to tip over and Rexi fell.

Now, Rexi’s family is asking for help. They set up a GoFundMe runner to find a warhorse to help fix her legs. They ’re also looking for “ any kind of invention, notoriety who knows commodity about tykes missing their frontal legs or handicapped, perhaps some kind of croaker who knows about a surgery,” Cassity told ABC 7. Since starting the runner, they ’ve formally planted a croaker and went on their first visit for an MRI and blood work, but the surgery will be precious if they can do it.
