Odysseus was left alone and tied near a church. His rescuers couldn’t believe their eyes when they found the starving and emaciated dog.
He was so thin that his skeleton was visible through his skin. The Angels of Animal Rescuers Among Us rushed Odysseus to the vet, where he fought to survive.
Last weekend, Ángeles Entre Nosotros posted on Facebook, asking for help in finding Odysseus a new home.
“We desperately need to find a foster home for Odysseus. Would you open your home and heart to help him?”
Their plea was answered. Although he’s not yet ready for a permanent home, Odysseus has found a foster mother. “She has been on the edge of her seat all night, waiting for updates, and she’s ready to visit him early tomorrow,” the rescue group posted on Facebook. “She is his angel!”
Now, the group has shared an update on their Facebook page about his first days in his new home. His adoptive caregiver, Nicole, has stayed by his side from the very beginning.
