The dog remained motionless in a puddle beside the road, clinging to a faint hope until rescue finally came -ltbl

It was raining and the streets were wet as the cars sped by. Puddles had actually gathered on the side of the highway when a driver saw a little tan dog stocking a puddle on the side of the road. Sensing the dog needed help, the driver transformed his vehicle around and stopped to look at the canine.

As he walked towards the canine, he recognized the canine was still alive but not moving. It was as if he had actually given up. Believing the canine was in pain, he pleaded with the pup not to attack him while he inspected his limp body searching for injuries.

He lifted the dog to his feet, but the poor canine’s back end was also weak or injured to hold himself up. Cars continued to pass while the man got a cage out of his vehicle and carefully raised the canine and placed him inside.

He drove the canine to the vet, where the dog had a full exam to look for internal injuries. From the looks of the pup, they were now calling Maddox, it appeared he ‘d been hit by a vehicle and would certainly require surgery to repair his spine, so they referred him to a specialist.

Fortunately, the man took Maddox to the specialist for surgical treatment, which they thought was the best chance of healing for the sweet canine. Once there, he had an exam and was taken right in for a spinal cord procedure.

The special pup made it through the surgical treatment and then slept for two days! On the third day, it was time to see if he had actually restored any type of sensation in his legs and if he would certainly be able to stroll once again or if he would certainly need a wheelchair.

Sadly, it was too soon to tell, and it appeared like Maddox would certainly have a lengthy road to recovery. After many weeks, he is still combating to walk. Our ideas are with the puppy and hope that he gets full use of his legs again. Keep on combating Maddox, the vet thinks you can make it!

No matter what Maddox’s future holds, he remains in good hands and will certainly either be running on his very own or using a wheelchair for movement. He’s such a lucky dog that somebody cared enough to help him.

All dogs are worthy of a guardian angel to help them in the process. It’s heartbreaking to see them suffer but at least this found his. We hope you enjoyed his rescue story. As constantly, please share with your buddies.
