Real Madrid were held to a 1-1 draw by Las Palmas away in round 3 of La Liga on the evening of August 29. Star Kylian Mbappe has yet to score a goal for Real Madrid in the domestic league.
Real Madrid are not having a good start to La Liga, they drew with Mallorca on the opening day and won 3-0 against Valladolid. In round 3, coach Ancelotti’s team is determined to win 3 points at Las Palmas.

However, a surprise happened, Las Palmas took the lead in the 5th minute thanks to Alberto Moleiro’s close-range shot that Courtois could not react to.
Real Madrid played stalemately for most of the match, but in the 69th minute, a Las Palmas player let the ball touch his hand in the penalty area. Vinicius successfully converted the penalty, equalizing 1-1 for Real Madrid.
“The White Vultures” tried to attack in the last 20 minutes of the match but they could not get the victory. Real Madrid disappointingly drew with weak opponent Las Palmas on the day Mbappe played very poorly and almost disappeared from the field.
After 3 rounds in La Liga, Mbappe has not been able to score for Real Madrid and he showed poor integration with his teammates. The French star has only scored for the Royal Spanish Club in the victory over Atalanta in the European Super Cup.
Real Madrid have only got 5 points/3 matches in La Liga and this is an unconvincing start for the defending champions. Barcelona leads La Liga quite impressively after 3 wins.
