On Wednesday night, Aaron WAN-BISSAKA will leave Old Trafford along with Raphael Varane and Anthony Martial.
SunSport has heard that a T-shirt with a picture of him winning the Carabao Cup has been made in his honor.
Wan-Bissaka, who is 26, still has one year left on his contract with Manchester United, but they are open to low-ball offers.
The full-back moved from Crystal Palace to United in June 2019 on a five-year deal with an option for an extra year that was exercised last season.
But the £45 million purchase has been yet another huge letdown for the hiring team.
Some people think he could move back to Palace. He used to play for England (U-21).
United will likely have to lower their asking price for the player, though, to around £20m.
Both Varane (31 years old) and Martial (28 years old) are coming to the end of their contracts this summer, and the club has not done anything to try to stretch or renew them in order to keep the French pair.
Varane, who used to play for France, wrote a touching message to United fans on social media.
In a video, he tells Manchester United fans, “To you guys, it’s been an amazing few years to play for this special club and wear that shirt.”
“I went to Old Trafford for the first time as a Manchester United player, and it was crazy. The atmosphere was great.”
“I loved the club and the fans.” To know what that means, you have to play for Manchester United.
“This is home for my kids.” It will always be a special place for me.
This is what Manchester United’s official X account said about the video: “The pleasure has been all ours ️”
