Sergio Ramos ‘teased’ his return to Real Madrid
Sergio Ramos made Real Madrid fans restless. The Los Blancos legend just posted a video of an intense training session on Instagram. He ran uphill on a farm and declared that he “felt very healthy”.
Ramos, 38 years old, left Sevilla in the summer and is looking for the next stop in his career. He has been contacted by many teams but has not negotiated with anyone. Ramos is said to be waiting for an invitation from his former team Real Madrid.
Currently, the Royal Club is starting a crisis in defense after Militao had his right knee kneed on a bowstring in the 4-0 win over Osasuna on Saturday. Dani Carvajal, who finished fourth in the battle to choose the Golden Ball, had to miss the rest of the season due to injury. David Alaba is also in the same situation and can only return in the new year.
Militao’s absence is a serious problem for Carlo Ancelotti. The Brazilian defender will receive treatment in the coming days, as Real Madrid has confirmed.
Therefore, fans were extremely excited to see Ramos share his latest video. He still retains his technical ability even though he has not joined a team yet.
He also sent his condolences to his former teammate on X: “You know the way to come back, you did it once and you will do it again.”
Ramos left Real Madrid after 16 seasons in 2021. During his playing time, he won five La Liga titles and four Champions League titles.
He initially went to Paris Saint-Germain for two seasons before returning to boyhood club Sevilla last season.
A fan texted Ramos: “Ready to return home.” Another called: “Please Real Madrid, we have no defenders, everyone is injured.”
A third added: “We need you, Capitano.”
If Ramos returns, this will be a huge spiritual boost for Real Madrid. Although their season has not been disastrous, it has slowed down somewhat compared to last season. Los Blancos are approaching Barcelona’s six-point lead in La Liga. While in the Champions League, they are in the second half of the rankings with 2 wins and 2 losses.
