Sabrina Carpenter is living out her pre-teen dreams as not only a member of Taylor Swift’s powerful female friend group, but also a performer who got to join the 14-time Grammy Award-winner on stage. The “Feather” singer, who has been the opening act for the Mexico, Argentina, Brazil and Australia legs of the “Eras Tour” has been a Swiftie for almost two decades.
Some adorable tweets and Facebook posts from the 24-year-old actress recently resurfaced and we’re suddenly strong believers in the power of manifestation.
In 2009 the Girl Meets World alum wrote “was trying to enter a Taylor Swift karaoke contest to win tickets and a chance to meet her but they said I had to be 13 :(.”
Fast-forward 15 years and the musicians, who were both born in Pennsylvania just sang a duet of Swift’s “White Horse” from Fearless and “Coney Island” from Evermore, as Friday night’s first surprise song mashup in Sydney, Australia’s Accor Stadium.
In another tweet from March 2010, Carpenter, who released her most recent fifth studio album, Emails I Can’t Send in 2022, gushed about her experience finally attending a Swift concert.
“The Taylor Swift concert was amazing, had so much fun I cant wait to have a world tour someday like hers! lol with 2 sold out shows!!!!!,” the Disney Channel alum wrote.
Dear 10-year-old Sabrina, you made it to an international tour of your own, and so much more.
“GUESS WHAT,” the official Eras Tour X account wrote.
Truly the most wholesome, full-circle moment in modern-day pop culture.
