Renowned rapper Rick Ross has once again expanded his extensive car collection, this time acquiring a classic Chevrolet Camaro SS. Known for his passion for automobiles, Ross showcased his latest addition on his social media accounts, emphasizing that the Camaro SS is just one highlight among the 200-plus units in his remarkable garage.
Ross, who demonstrated his dedication to cars by naming his record label Maybach Music Group, has consistently showcased his automotive enthusiasm throughout his career. In 2021, he launched the “Rick Ross Car & Bike Show” at his opulent mansion in Atlanta, Georgia, further solidifying his status as a true petrolhead.
The recently unveiled Chevrolet Camaro SS, dating back to the model’s first generation (1967-1969), boasts a striking two-tone black and silver exterior, complemented by a dark interior and distinctive aftermarket wheels and hood modifications. In a video shared by the rapper, the V8 engine’s powerful roar echoes as the Camaro SS ascends his driveway.
With over 35,000 units featuring the SS Package produced in the first year, the first-gen Chevrolet Camaro SS housed a formidable 350 cu in (5.7-liter) V8 engine, delivering 295 horsepower and 380 lb-ft of torque.
Ross, known for his lavish lifestyle, teased his followers with glimpses of his fully black garage filled with Chevrolets via Instagram Stories. The rapper pondered which vehicle to take for a spin, showcasing options ranging from a two-tone beige Jeep Grand Wagoneer to a Gucci-top 1971 Chevrolet Impala.
Additionally, Ross shared his admiration for a two-tone Mercedes-Maybach S-Class, describing it as “beautiful.” The rapper plans to feature his latest acquisition, the Camaro SS, at the upcoming second edition of the “Rick Ross Car & Bike Show,” promising to announce dates and ticket availability soon.
