Returning to action in La Liga after nearly two weeks to make way for the international series, Real Madrid looked a shadow of themselves before a brilliant move from Kylian Mbappe gave the defending champions the lead in the 20th minute. The French captain picked up the ball that bounced off Eduardo Camavinga’s interception and fired a shot from more than 20 meters away, drawing a wonderful curve into the A corner of the home team’s goal.

Mbappe’s opening goal came after Celta Vigo’s Williot Swedberg missed two great opportunities for the home team in the opening minutes of the match, including an excellent save by goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois.

However, Celta Vigo was rewarded for their efforts in the second half when youngster Swedberg took advantage of the opportunity to score an emotional equalizer.
