A group of shelter volunteers en route to the Dog Rescue Shelter in Mladenovac, Serbia, encountered a heart-wrenching sight as they spotted a lone dog braving the rain on the roadside.

Following a month of nurturing, Lady found her forever home with a loving family, where she now relishes ample space to frolic in a spacious backyard alongside a new canine companion.
