Retired NBA legend Michael Jordan and his wife, Yvette Prieto, are currently enjoying a vacation in Florence, Italy. On Friday, the couple visited the iconic Florence Cathedral, where they took part in a special moment by lighting a candle and making a cash donation to the church.

Jordan, 56, dressed casually in a grey t-shirt, cargo shorts, and a pair of white Air Jordan sneakers, carried a large white backpack as he explored the cathedral. Accompanied by three bodyguards, the couple took the opportunity to capture memories with friends inside the historic site.

Michael Jordan and Yvette Prieto first met in 2007 at a nightclub. Their relationship quickly blossomed, leading to their marriage in April 2013. Prieto, a former model from Cuba who has worked with notable designer Alexander Wang, decided to step away from her career to focus on raising their twin daughters, Isabel and Victoria, who are now 4 years old.

In addition to being a mother to their twins, Prieto is also a stepmother to Jordan’s three children from his previous marriage. Jordan’s eldest children—Jeffrey, Marcus, and Jasmine—are from his first marriage to Juanita Vanoy.
