Serena Williams’ husband Alexis Ohanian has just revealed that he’s been diagnosed with Lyme disease, despite having no symptoms, ABC News reports.
According to the CDC, Lyme disease is a bacterial infection that is contracted by people through the bite of blacklegged ticks. Symptoms can include fatigue, headaches and skin rashes but if left untreated, it can spread to the joints, the heart and the nervous system.
“Doing a full battery of health scans, tests, etc, and found out I have Lyme disease,” Ohanian wrote on X on Tuesday. “Wild. No symptoms, thankfully, but gonna treat.”
Per ABC News, other celebs who have Lyme disease include Amy Schumer, Shania Twain and Justin Bieber.
