Recently, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, who has been working in an Atlanta film studio, posted an emotional Instagram picture of himself visiting the football squad of Apalachee High School.
The Winder team has been dealing with the fallout from the horrific school shooting that happened on September 4 and claimed four lives. Johnson noted how impressed he was by their energy and showed his respect for their fortitude and spirit.”I looked these kids in their eyes and hugged ‘em – I know they’re in great pain, but man are they resilient and staying strong,” stated the author.
His visit and message struck a deep chord, giving the group a much-needed boost of happiness and camaraderie.
In a heartfelt pledge, Johnson declared he would show his support for the town by showing up to Apalachee High School’s inaugural home game.
