James, 38, made an eerie shrieking motion with his hands in front of his face before performing a spectacular dunk. It’s safe to sаy that the four-time NBA champion won’t have a conventional season for a player in his 21st year.

Vince Carter averaged seven points per game in his 21st season, the best in league history; LeBron James averaged 30 points per game in his comeback season, thus the same could be expected of him at age 38.

The official NBA X (Twitter) account relayed James’s reaction to becoming the oldest player in the league.

On his social media accounts, he shared the video with emojis depicting the same expressions as those in the original clip.

James considered retiring at the end of the 2016–17 season. For the first time in his professional life, he felt inadequate.

Soon later, he announced his return and explained that rekindling his passion for the game through coaching his sons throughout the summer.

The majority of the Lakers’ squad from their Western Conference final loss to the Denver Nuggets has returned, and they’ve added a few vital players like center Christian Wood.

James and company are considered frontrunners to win the championship and will kιck off their season on October 24 in Denver.
