Michael Jordan is a former professional basketball player, widely considered the greatest of all time. He won six NBA championships with the Chicago Bulls and was known for his scoring ability and defense, earning him the nicknames “Air Jordan” and “His Airness”. The athlete also played for the United States national team, winning four gold medals.
Off the court, Michael is a successful businessman, worth an estimated $1.7m. In the sports biz, he’s the principal owner and chairman of the NBA’s Charlotte Hornets, as well as a NASCAR team. Michael basically invented modern product endorsements, namely, his signature line of sneakers with Nike. No stranger to some screentime, Michael appeared in the animated romp Space Jam (1996) and the documentary miniseries The Last Dance (2020). In 2016, he was awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom by President Barack Obama.
Who could have thought back in 1994 that young MJ would become the Greatest Of All Time. He beamed after being named the winner of the Eastman Award, for the nation’s top male collegiate basketball player in 1984. His career would only get bigger and bolder from that moment on.
