Man United opened the scoring in the 79th minute thanks to Brazilian player Antony – a 100 million euro contract from Ajax. Antony rushed up to steal the ball from the Burnley defender’s foot and then accelerated into the penalty area before scoring diagonally, scoring the opening goal for Man United.
This is Antony’s first goal for Man United in the Premier League this season.

However, this goal could not bring 3 points to Man United because of Onana’s mistake. In the 85th minute, goalkeeper Onana punched Zeki Amdouni (Burnley) in the face during a dispute over the ball in the air.
The referee awarded Burnley an 11m kick after consulting VAR technology. On the free kick, Zeki Amdouni easily deceived Onana and scored to equalize the score 1-1 for Burnley.
With a draw in this match, Burnley continues to hold on to hope of relegation. After 35 rounds, Burnley has 24 points, ranked 19th and 2 points behind the 17th ranked team, Nottingham. Meanwhile, with this draw, Man United has no chance of entering the top 5 this season.
