Cooper was barely ten months old. He had changed ears, as often happens with  dogs destined to work as shepherds or hunting  dogs .

At some point he became ill and his owner decided to take him in. Cooper found refuge in a shelter, sleeping between tires and becoming sicker by the day.

The shelter owner called a local animal welfare organization for help with the illness. Cooper was extremely weak and emaciated, under a veil of sadness.

He was so excited that the volunteers thought he was paralyzed, but he started eating and gaining weight. Over time, with proper care and lots of love, he turned into a healthy and beautiful  dog .

Cooper remained in the care of his rescuers for months until he found his forever home in England.
