On Sunday, Erik ten Hag’s team stumbled through an FA Cup semi-final against Coventry City at Wembley, getting through on penalties. The crowd laughed at them.
They were down 2-1 at Old Trafford after controlling the first half, but Fernandes scored twice and set up another to help United get a much-needed win.
“We generally desire to keep our clean sheets.” Fernandes said, “Good job to Sheffield United.”
It was over, and we came back. We did things that made it hard for us to win games. It also shows some character.
Another thing we need to remember is that we need to score when we have the chance if we want to keep the game under control like we did in the first half.

“I love scoring goals, but I want to win games more,” he said. “Goalscoring is also part of my job.” I really want to win games, though.
