It was the day before Christmas. Everything was quiet and still. Additionally, there was a sense of confinement and lack of freedom. The employees decided to put Rudy on the list for a more comprehensive treatment.

Rudy’s fortune changed when a kind woman found him at the shelter. Rudy seemed so tormented that the woman immediately decided to become his adoptive mother. Though she managed to remove him from the waiting list, his survival was still a struggle.

During the following months, Rudy’s life was filled with painful medical appointments and the love and care of his adoptive parents were essential.

When he gained enough strength to move on his own, he began going out to the backyard to interact with his many adoptive siblings. Despite his hip fracture, they managed to raise $6,300 through social media campaigns for Rudy’s hip replacement surgery. Rudy’s problems resonated with many people who were touched by his story.

As a result of his successful hip surgery, Rudy is now an energetic and happy  dog. He will spend his days with his loving adoptive mother and his siblings, bringing joy to everyone around him.
