Arsenio Hall enjoys the fruits of large villa after 66 years of dedication to career
Given that he recently spent $5.2 mιllιon on a modern farmhouse-style home in the Calabasas region of Los Angeles, Arsenio Hall has, as one might expect, decided to list his amenity-rich mansion in the Tarzana neighborhood of the San Fernando Valley for sale.
The 66-year-old actor, comedian, and former talk show host is apparently asking just under $5.3 mιllιon for the contemporary mansion, which is significantly less than the $1 mιllιon he reportedly paid “NCIS” actor Sean Murray for it little over a year ago, not long after it was first constructed.
He gained notoriety for his work on “The Arsenio Hall Show,” a television program that ran from 1989 to 1994, as well as for his parts in the films “Coming to America” and “Harlem Nights.”
On a level plot of ground spanning more than a third of an acre, a white stucco and dark brown-trimmed building with a roomy motorcourt and three-car garage is concealed behind fences and gates.
The 6,500 square feet of two-story living space, which has hardwood floors, high ceilings, designer lighting, and floor-to-ceiling Fleetwood glass sliding doors, is divided into six bedrooms and seven bathrooms. It may be accessed through the 12-foot-tall double entrance doors.
A formal dining room with doors leading to a covered terrace that is ideal for outdoor entertaining is connected to a living room that is enhanced by a linear fireplace that is concealed behind a wood accent wall.
A floating staircase concealing a wine closet is in the grand entrance. The adjoining gourmet kitchen features custom cabinets, two huge quartz islands with cascading edges, top-of-the-line Thermador appliances, and a walk-in pantry.
The house also contains a theater room and a multipurpose room that can be utilized as either an office or a lounge. A marble fireplace, a private balcony, two walk-in closets, and a sizable bathroom with a separate wet room with a soaking tub and shower are all features of the spacious master bedroom upstairs.
The backyard, which is covered in turf and includes a zero-edge pool, a Jacuzzi with a Baja ledge, a sport court, a barbecue and kitchen setup, and a fire pit, is the main attraction. Additionally, there are two guesthouses, one of which is now being utilized as a gym, Control4 automation, and solar panel systems.
