In a quaint little house tucked away in a cozy corner of the neighborhood, there lived a loyal companion named Max. Today was supposed to be a day of joy and celebration – it was Max’s birthday. However, instead of wagging his tail with excitement, Max sat in a corner of the room, his eyes filled with tears of loneliness.
