Journey from a four-legged baby: becoming healthy after miraculous surgery.
Deepak Paswaп died in one of the least developed areas of India with a rare disease that turned him into a spectacle. He had a parasitic twin attached to his abdomen, which meant he had four legs and four arms, but he had a head.
Deepak’s family was comfortable with the attention their son was receiving, so he publicly asked for help to remove the desired limbs.
His wish was fulfilled as the hospital in the southern city of Bagalore stepped forward and offered to bear the cost of the complicated and dangerous procedure. The surgery to remove Deepak’s extra limbs was successful and changed his life forever.
Surgery was not an easy task. It was a rare and complicated procedure that took more than eight hours. A team of 40 medical professionals participated in the surgery, including doctors, nurses and aesthesiologists.
Thanks to the generosity of the hospital and the medical team, Deepak’s life has been transformed and he can now live a life free of pain and suffering.
